Unleashing Your Divine Purpose: Embracing the Gifts Within

How often do we give away our power? We allow the enemy to weasel his way into our lives and make us feel small, unloved, and unworthy. Most of the time, we don’t even challenge our feelings. We just accept his lies as our truth.

There is greatness inside of us all. It is up to us to find it and unleash it into the world. We have a special gift that the world needs. God made every one of us for a specific purpose. We should not rest until we discover our purpose and cultivate the gift the Lord has bestowed on us.

God gave us our gifts for a reason. Do we really want to take it to our grave with us—unused and unblessed?

God hand-picked our gifts for us. He knows exactly what we need. When we use what He gives us and even ask Him to bless it according to His will, we will amaze ourselves and be able to do His great work in ways that we never imagined before.

The problem is that we play small. We put God, as well as ourselves, inside of a box and limit His power with our negative, limiting beliefs. So often, we close our eyes to the blessings of the Lord. We wallow in our misery because we refuse to do His work and to use the talent that He gave us. I know this truth because I am speaking from experience.

When God gave me the gift of writing, I initially refused it. I did not want to write. Even as I wrote my first few books, I did not enjoy the process. In the beginning, I couldn’t see the beauty of the gift God had given me. All I focused on was the hard work of writing a book, and I failed to take in its blessings. After praying about it, God showed me how to embrace and enjoy the process.

Now, I love it. I write every day because it feeds my soul. Nothing else can compare to the joy of writing for me. It is a special blessing that God has given me.

Do you know your purpose and talent that God has just for you? If not, ask Him to reveal it to you.

P.S. If you enjoyed this, please share it with someone else.
