Shine a light to God

Philippians 2:14-15 (KJV)
14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:
15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;

In all honesty, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. All of my needs are met, and I even have many things that I want. My soul is peaceful and my heart is joyful. Therefore, I need to embrace peace and joy.

God allows us to choose the course for our lives. We get to decide what kind of life we want to live. Do we want to be joyful and shine a light into the world? Or do we want to complain and be miserable? The choice is ours.

Right now, I can cultivate joy in my life. I can thank God, in the present moment, for all that He has done for me and even for my future blessings. Every day I can choose to walk in His love and His goodness. By doing this, my life will become a living testimony for Him.

We don’t have to wait for something great to happen to praise the Lord or to be joyful. This moment, we are in right now, is precious. It will never come again. Therefore, I want to enjoy it. I want to clear my mind of all the clutter and search for God. When I look for His goodness, then I can find it all around me. The more that I praise Him, the more that I discover to praise Him for.

Today, I encourage you to look for the goodness of the Lord. He is in every breath and every beat of our hearts. If we just think about all the amazing things that our body does, without us even thinking about, then we would have an abundance of blessings.
