Divine Comfort in Times of Struggle

I was really struggling one day with something that broke my heart. All I could do was cry. I wanted to talk to someone about it but didn’t know how to explain my struggle. 

During the worst of it, when the enemy was using it to cause me even more pain, God showed up for me. 

I received a Bible verse alert on my phone. It shocked me because I had never received one before. But when I opened the app, it was a verse that pertained to my situation. 

As I read God’s words, it comforted me and reminded me of the truth. God’s words seeped into my aching heart and disputed everything the enemy had told me. When I needed it the most, my precious Lord came to me. He interrupted my tears and changed my perspective.

Psalm 34:19 KJV 

19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.

I love knowing that regardless of the enemy’s attacks, my Lord will deliver me from them all. God has ways of protecting us and delivering us. The more I go through with the Lord, the greater I get to know Him and the more powerful He becomes to me. It’s one thing when others tell us of the Lord’s greatness, and it’s another when we experience it. 

I’m so thankful that my God answers with fire. I serve a powerful God. He opens doors that I can’t even see and blesses me in ways that truly touch my heart. I love it when He stands up for me and gives me the deepest desires of my heart. It makes me feel so loved.
