Be intentional about the words after I am.

I am a warrior.
Even as I type those words, the enemy mocks me. He wants me to stay in a place of self-loathing and self-pity. Because when I am stuck in the pattern of believing lies, then I sabotage myself. And this is the place where the enemy wants me to stay.
The enemy wants me to stay things like this to myself…
I am not good enough.
I am not worthy.
When I believe the lies, then I act as though they are true. If I think I am a failure, not good enough, and unworthy, I won’t even show up for my life and try to put in an effort. It’s like quitting a project before we even start.
Our thoughts will either lift us or tear us down. The good news is that we choose what we want to believe. Therefore, I choose to believe that I am a warrior for my Lord. When I think I am a warrior, then I show up in my life like one. I don’t just accept defeat when life gets hard, but I stand up and fight with everything inside of me. Every single time the enemy knocks me down, I get back up. A warrior fights the battle until the end—not until it gets hard.
We are in a war. The enemy is raging. We are all on the battlefield. Therefore, we need to decide how we are going to show up. Will we stand up and put on the whole armor of God and fight in this war, or will we just sit down on Him?
God gave us all a special gift. When we show up and use our gift for the Lord, then it makes a difference in our world and helps other people. It also makes a difference when we love other people, pray for them, and live a good life in front of them.
Every day, we need to remember that we are the soul. Therefore, we need to choose empowering words to go after the words I am. I am the beloved daughter of God. I am chosen by Him. I am good enough in Him. I am worthy because Jesus shed His blood for me. I am saved. I am forgiven. I am loved. I am a warrior because God is in me. I am in the family of God. Jesus is my elder brother. Therefore, I have favor with God.
Philippians 4:8 (KJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
