Are you going to let the enemy win?

It would be so easy to give up when things get hard. Sometimes, we want to give up on our circumstances, hopes, dreams, and the people who make us cry. Because, honestly, none of us like the messiness of hardships. We don’t want the pain nor the battle of fighting for who or what we love.

But when the enemy attacks our loved ones, we have two choices. We can either walk away, or we can stand and fight. Regardless of what they do, we have to be willing to love them through it all. Once, I was going through a really hard situation. I kept asking God what I should do about the situation. He replied, “Just love him.”

Friends, at some point, the enemy will go after your family. Those babies that you held and rocked are going to be under attack. What are you going to do about it? Are you going to let the enemy win?

Love has no conditions. It has no strings or rules. Love is pure. Therefore, we need to fight our battles with love and prayer. When the enemy goes after our families, we need to cry out to Jesus. We need to pray to Jesus. We need to love like Jesus. And we need to live like Jesus.

There is absolutely nothing so big that God can’t handle it. When we choose to love, regardless of the circumstances, then love wins. The enemy can’t defeat God’s amazing love. Love is what separates us from the enemy. Love is what intercedes our prayers for us. It is what gives us the advantage. Love is what held Jesus on the cross. Love is what paid the price for our sins. Even in our death, love wins.

Galatians 6:9-10 (KJV)

9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

So when the enemy tells us that our situation is hopeless and we feel helpless, we must pray to God. He is our hope. And He can move mountains.
