Will You Trust God in the Darkness?

Will you trust God in the darkness? In the places that don’t make any sense and feel so fearful. At times when it feels impossible. Will you trust Him then?

It’s easy to speak of faith when everything is going great in our lives. Faith is comfortable when we can see the plan and understand the way. But it gets harder when we are surrounded by darkness and can’t even see the next step. 

When we move forward, believing God’s got us, even when we can’t see the next step, that’s faith. Faith is trusting God to do what is best for us when we don’t know what that might be. 

If you are going through something that feels impossible, I know how hard it is to trust the Lord when the enemy is shouting words of defeat. But God is a waymaker. He is a miracle worker. 

Sometimes the greatest thing we can do during these hard times is to be honest with the Lord. 

Tell Him that you’re scared.

Tell Him how much you need Him.

Ask Him to help your unbelief.

And to help you go through this with faith.

God will show up in your darkest hours. He can move mountains for you. Remember, He knows your situation and how to help you. Sit with expectation and desire, trusting that He is with you even when you can’t feel Him. He knows your next step and how to comfort you through it all.
