Unshakeable Peace: Trusting God Beyond Our Circumstances

There is such a beautiful peace in knowing that God will rescue me. Regardless of what I do or don’t do, I belong to Him. The enemy wants us to feel alone, abandoned, and rejected. But God loves us with a love we can’t even fully comprehend.

God’s love goes so much deeper. It is not based on circumstances or a checklist. His love for us doesn’t depend on our goodness. It is unconditional, filled with grace, mercy, and compassion.

Yet God gives us a choice.

We can accept Him or reject Him.

We can choose love or hate.

We can dwell on good thoughts or entertain destructive ones.

Some things are beyond our control. While we cannot control every circumstance, we can choose how we respond to them.

We can choose to love despite how we are treated.

We can choose to take our thoughts captive when the enemy whispers his lies.

We can pray about everything.

Sweet friends, the enemy wants us focused on what we cannot control. But when we bring our thoughts to God and place them before Him in prayer, we can choose Him in every situation.

And the more we seek Him, the more we will find Him.

Philippians 4:19 KJV
