Trusting God’s Plan: He will work it all out

Sometimes, I can’t help but wonder when God will answer my prayers. The pain of living with this unanswered prayer breaks my heart. In the depths of my heart, I know that God can do it. If I am honest, sometimes it’s hard to know that God can do it, but He chooses not to do it right now.

Do you ever feel that way?

When I really consider it all, I know that it is just not the right time yet. God does things in His own time and has a reason for everything He does. So, when the pain becomes unbearable, I am thankful for a place to take my burdens.

At the feet of Jesus, I can give it all to Him. The pain, frustration, disappointment, etc. And He will give me the strength to keep pressing on. God never promised me that my life would be easy. But He did promise never to leave me nor forsake me. Therefore, I can stand on those promises and trust the Lord to do what is best for me.

Romans 8:37-39 (KJV)

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
