They’re Watching: What Is Your Life Saying?

Do you live according to your beliefs?

Someone is watching our lives. Others watch us to see if we are who we claim to be. If we go to church on Sundays and then live like the devil the rest of the week, we are not shining our light to God. Instead of lighting the way for others to find the Lord, we are a stumbling block to them.

It took me a long time to learn this, and I still haven’t mastered it. While we can tell other people about the Lord and His greatness, the real example is when we show them. How we treat other people speaks so much louder than what we say.

No one needs us to point out their sins. I believe that everyone knows when they sin. Therefore, we need to shine the light on God and His forgiveness. My flesh is not perfect. In fact, I sin daily, but the beautiful gift in it all is that God loves me anyway. He has grace for my sins.

God loves me when I am doing good and when I am doing bad. His love, however, is so great that it makes me want to do better. I want to use my life to honor Him and tell everyone about His greatness—not because I am perfect, but because a perfect God loves me.

Oh, sweet friend, I want you to know God for yourself, experience His greatness, and live every day in the peace and joy that only comes from Him.

I don’t talk about God to try to appear better than anyone else. I talk about God because being loved by Him and serving Him is the best part of my life, and I want to share it with others.
