The Price of Wisdom and the Beauty of Salvation

Wisdom doesn’t come easy. It comes through pain, hardship, and trials that mold us and strengthen us. When we follow the Lord and learn from Him, He rewards us with wisdom.
But in the wisdom, there is grief.
Ecclesiastes 1:18 KJV
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.
When God opens our understanding of things, we can’t just go with the flow and pretend we don’t know. In the knowing, there is power and sorrow. Once God opens our eyes to things, we have a responsibility to stand in the truth.
God has shown me things, I didn’t want to see. Some of them broke my heart. But to ignore the truth is to waste all of my trials and the pain I endured through the process.
We have to trust what God shows us, even if it breaks our hearts.
We have to be willing to stand with God, even if we stand alone.
We have to be willing to see the things we don’t want to see or believe.
We have to be willing to suffer for the truth.
The more I learn, the more I understand what Jesus endured. We will be rejected, betrayed, falsely accused, beaten, and bruised from following the Lord, too. But I want to be like Jesus and do it anyway.
If people follow me, I want to lead them to the Lord. I want to stand for the truth, regardless of the cost. And when God opens my eyes to the truth, I want to be strong and not faint at it all.
I’m so thankful for all of those who stood before me and protected the truth. I’m so thankful for the gospel. It showed me I was lost and invited me to be saved. God’s beautiful salvation forever changed me. It is the most wonderful gift I have ever received, and I want everyone else to have it, too.
