Do you love your life?
Sometimes, we can get so caught up in the pain that we lose the enjoyment of our lives. We stop seeing the beauty and only focus on the ugliness. When I visit schools, I tell the kids our mind is like a camera. It will focus on whatever we look at. Therefore, if we only look for the bad in life, others, and ourselves, that’s all we will see. And if we do that long enough, we will start to believe that our lives are bad.
But the opposite is also true. If we search for the good and focus on it, we will capture beautiful moments and believe our lives are beautiful.
The enemy wants us to focus on the bad. He continuously tries to point out what is wrong, magnifying our hardships and making us feel as if we lack things.
For many years, I focused on my missing fingers instead of the ones I had. When I flipped the switch in my mind and concentrated on gratitude, I learned to be grateful for what I do have, and that changed everything for me.
We get one life, and I don’t want to spend mine constantly looking for the bad. I want to train my eyes to see the beauty in everything and everyone. I want to enjoy my life and trust God to make all things as they need to be.
Something extraordinary happens when we focus on love and let go of everything else. We experience a Godly love. Things or people don’t have to be perfect for us to love them. We can look beyond the surface and see what is underneath it all.
Today, I challenge you to look for beauty, focus on it, capture it, and share it with others.

If you enjoyed this, please share it with someone else.
