The greatest gift of all

I feel sad today. Not because there is anything wrong in my life but because my heart aches for those struggling. I know there are empty chairs this Christmas, empty bank accounts, and many hardships. I have experienced some of them myself. I know the pain of going through the motions of life and wishing the pain would end. 

Even though my heart desires to help anyone struggling, I don’t have the ability to help everyone. But I know a God who can.

God knew we would struggle with things the world can’t help us with. He knew we would need a savior. So, He gave us JESUS. 

Luke 2:11 KJV

11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Jesus can comfort our deepest heartaches. While He might not change our circumstances, He can help us to see them differently. Jesus can help us praise God through the storms of life and overcome any battle. He doesn’t want us to carry our burdens and heartaches but give them to Him. 

Our Lord has everything we need. He wants to bless, love, and comfort us through every part of our lives. We just need to open our hearts and allow Him to give us what we need. Jesus is the greatest gift of all.
