How do you want to live your life?

How often do we live our lives on autopilot?

I like routines. It makes life simpler. So, I often eat, do the same things, and have structured daily routines. While patterns and habits can be great, they can also cause us to drift and become unsatisfied if we aren’t careful.

I don’t want to live the same day over and over for the rest of my life. I want to create new things and have new experiences.

Recently, God has opened my eyes to a few things. He needs us. All of us. Not just an okay version of us, but He needs us to show up as our best selves and represent Him well. The enemy has an abundance of people to do his work. Therefore, if we stay in our comfort zone and only do enough to get by, we allow the enemy to do His version of the work we should be doing.

It is challenging to do great things. But it is also worth it. Therefore, I want to come alive daily and live fiercely and passionately. I want to keep my eyes on the Lord and the work He wants me to do.

Every day, I want to remember that someone somewhere is counting on me to do what God put on my heart to do. There is such power in showing up daily and asking God what we can do for Him.

I’ve lived an inspired life for God, and I’ve also lived a very selfish life. One filled my cup, and the other one drained me. Only living for ourselves and what we want doesn’t give us the joy we need. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive.

I am so sorry for all the time I’ve wasted. I can’t get one second of it back. But I can live the rest of my life in service of others and God. I can let God mold me into the absolute best version of myself. I can enjoy my beautiful salvation from the Lord and let His incredible love surround and guide me. I want to be on fire for Him.

What about you? How do you want to live your life?
