This, too, shall pass.
The darkness and pain won’t last forever. It is just a season in our lives. One day, God will bless us to overcome the trial we are in right now. He already knows what is going to happen. We have to trust Him.
Things don’t always work out the way that we want them to. His plans are better than our own. Sometimes, we pray (or try to) for things, not in alignment with His will for us. When we are only focused on what we want, we can’t see the grandeur of His ways. We are the most powerful and fully aligned with God when we can pray for His will to be done in our lives—knowing He will do what is best for us.
My faith is the strongest when not tied to a particular outcome. I love it when I can bow down at the feet of Jesus and put my life in His capable hands. When my heart can say, “God, I don’t know how you are going to work this out for me, but I trust you wholeheartedly to do what is best for me.” Then, I know that I am in God’s will.
God knows our situation. He understands our tears and the groaning of our hearts. His love for us is greater than anything that we can even imagine. If we go to Him, He will help us overcome each problem.
I love it when I step out in faith, not knowing how God will fix the problem, and then He amazes me. If you’ve ever had one of the moments with Him, you know how precious they are. Every time it happens, my heart is overjoyed, and I wonder why I doubted His greatness.
I am so grateful to be a child of the King. Knowing that I can talk to the creator of Heaven and Earth humbles me. The God who created this world in all its splendor also created us, and He loves us. We are precious to Him.
Psalm 121:1-2 (KJV)
121 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
