From Darkness to Light: A Journey of Transformation

Life can change in an instant. We usually reserve that belief for bad things only. While tragic things can happen in an instant to completely change our lives, good things can also happen to change the course of our lives.

When God bestows His blessings upon us, we are never the same. Sadly, we don’t usually acknowledge that it changed our lives. The day God saved me changed my life in an instant. I have never been the same. 

God worked on me, turning me into a completely different person. In the instant I believed, God removed the hate and replaced it with love. He transformed my fear of dying into a desire to be with Him in Heaven. 

If we let Him, God can completely change our lives. He can also do it after saving us in different ways. 

I tried to get my books published for seven years, but publishers rejected me until God sent the publisher to me. With one email, my life changed. I was depressed and hopeless, wondering how I was going to make it through my day. I couldn’t work, and the enemy tormented me every day. 

During the worst of it, He told me my family would be better off without me. All I had to do all day was take my kids to school, and I struggled with that simple chore. The enemy told me I was worthless, disabled, and I would never work again. 

But God had something else in mind. He restored my purpose and gave me hope to fight again. In one instant, He blessed my dream and flooded me with hope. 

Sweet friends, I don’t know what you are going through. I don’t know how dark your life may seem. We usually try to move deeper into the darkness during dark times, but the light is the answer. Move toward God’s light. 

Psalm 33:20-22 KJV

20 Our soul waiteth for the Lord: he is our help and our shield.

21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

22 Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us, according as we hope in thee.

Let God change you, restore you, and help you! It’s an amazing feeling. And it gets better with each day.
