Faith Is the Doorway to God’s Promises

Unbelief stands in the way of becoming who God calls us to be.
If we don’t believe something is possible, we won’t pursue it. And even if we try, we’ll only give it half our heart.
The children of Israel missed the Promised Land because of unbelief and disobedience. I don’t want to miss my blessings the same way because I didn’t believe God or because I refused to follow Him.
I don’t want to wander in the wilderness, complaining, doubting, and making myself miserable when God has abundance prepared for me.
Limiting God is one of the greatest mistakes we can make. It steals our blessings. God will not bless unbelief. He calls us to walk by faith and trust Him. That’s why I need to ask Him daily to help my unbelief.
Our obstacles aren’t meant to stop us. They’re meant to reveal that we are overcomers through God. But when I keep my eyes fixed on the problem, I miss how God is working to help me overcome it.
Have you ever noticed how easily we question what God shows us, but rarely question what the enemy tells us? I often accept the enemy’s lies without hesitation. And even when God exposes them, I still struggle to let them go.
I’ve learned that beliefs are powerful. They shape our thoughts. Our thoughts create our feelings. Our feelings drive our actions. And our actions produce the results of our lives.
If I want to change my life, I have to change what I believe.
Faith is the opposite of unbelief. When I struggle, I don’t have to pretend to be strong—I can ask God for help. He doesn’t expect me to defeat the enemy on my own. He expects me to run to Him.
We can believe God or the enemy.
We can follow God or the enemy.
We can trust God or the enemy.
But we can’t do both.
God has everything we need, and He wants to bless us.
So the question is this:
Do we want to keep wandering in the wilderness, or are we willing to let God lead us into the promises He has prepared for us?
