Do you TRUST Jesus with your heartaches?

One of the ways the enemy tries to trick us is by convincing us that we are alone in the world. He also wants us to believe that our situation is much worse than others are going through. The enemy wants to segregate us from our loved ones. This is one of the ways he tries to destroy our hope.

If he can make us feel like we are a victim in this world, he can get us to act like a victim. He wants us to walk around with our heads down so we can’t see the glorious creation of the world. He wants us to focus on the bad and never look for the good.

When I start having feelings of fear, shame, guilt, and hopelessness, then I need to examine these thoughts and look for their source. The Bible tells us God did not give us the spirit of fear. Therefore, fear is not of God. It is the work of the enemy.

God is our hope. He has grace for our every need. We are sinners. But the blood of Jesus has the power to forgive our sins. So, we don’t have to carry them around with us. We need to give all of our heartaches to Jesus. He wants them. He died for them. Their weight is too heavy for us to carry on our own.

God is the only one who can take our deepest heartaches and turn them into blessings. We have to trust Him. I love these beautiful scriptures. Regardless of what we go through, God is always with us through the trials.

Isaiah 43:1-3 (KJV)

43 But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

3 For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.
