Do you have a dream that seems impossible?

God is a waymaker.

Have you ever stood at the crossroads of life and wondered what to do? I remember being in this place. My life felt so unfulfilled. I wanted something, but I wasn’t sure what my soul needed. So, I tried to figure it out on my own. Every door I tried to open for myself slammed shut in my face. I felt so discouraged.

One night, I took all the pain and disappointments and laid them at Jesus’s feet. I allowed it all to pour out and told Him I didn’t know what to do with my life. I begged Him to give me something I could do to help other people.

Lying on the bathroom floor, God revealed my gift to write. Later, He showed me how to use it to help other people. When I asked God to help me, He did. Writing fills my soul. It gives me purpose and a way to help others.

God has a special gift for each soul created. With a humble heart, we need to ask Him to reveal His plan to us. God can make a way for us in the most challenging circumstances. He can help us to overcome every obstacle. Our Lord will even hold our hand as we step out in faith and walk toward His marvelous light.

Will it be easy? No, it won’t. It will probably be the hardest thing you’ve ever done. But sweet friends, it will be so worth it. Walking with the Lord and living according to His purpose for my life is priceless. Nothing else compares to the blessings of my Lord.

Yesterday, God blessed me to return to my elementary school and share what it’s like to be an author. I love to tell my story and tell others how God continuously takes my impossible circumstances and makes them possible. As I drove home, I thought if my younger self could have glimpsed into the future, I wish she could have seen this moment. God worked it all out for me better than I could have imagined.
