When Your Hardship Is Actually a Blessing in Disguise

God knows how He will work it out for you, sweet friend!
When I feel discouraged, overwhelmed, stressed, or even a little hopeless, I think about Job and how God took his affliction and turned it into a great blessing.

Sometimes God allows us to experience things, and the reasons may be hidden for a while. When things look unfair, it’s easy to feel punished—but often the opposite is true. It could all be for our good and for the glory of God.

We don’t always know what is truly inside our hearts until hardships come. Through adversity, we see where we stand with God.

Do we curse God when bad things happen, or do we cry out to Him?
Do we only praise Him in the goodness or also through the storms?
Do we seek God only when things are tough, or is He a daily part of our lives?

When we feel broken, alone, and a little forsaken, we discover the true condition of our minds, hearts, and souls. In the rawness—in the trenches—filling them with our tears, we learn what truly matters. We learn whether our God is the One who answers with fire.

The world offers a powerless form of religion—something that looks spiritual but has no comfort, no peace, and no strength.
But there is a real, powerful God who is always there.
He holds us while we sleep.
He sits with us when everyone else has abandoned us.
He gives us scriptures and songs to comfort our aching hearts.
He helps us through every hardship—we never walk alone.

When we encounter God for ourselves, it changes everything.

Job endured great suffering, yet he never turned away from God. He didn’t love God only when life was good—he loved Him in the ashes, too. And I believe that’s why God blessed Job even more in the end. Job proved that nothing could change his love for God.

And sweet friend…
God sees your faithfulness, too.
He knows how He will work it out for you.
And when the time is right, He will.
