What Are You Growing With Your Life?

Sometimes I need to examine my life and make sure that I am sowing what I want to reap. If not, then I need to make a change. Often, we think that other people cause our misery, but I have found that when I dig deeper, I am usually the one causing the problem. It is my actions that lead to my results.

Galatians 6:7-9 KJV
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Therefore, if I want good things, then I need to do good things.
It took me seven years to get my books published. Honestly, I don’t know how many words I had to write before I could string enough together for a book. Many people have told me they cried when they read my books. Every time someone made that statement, I remembered how I had cried and prayed while writing it. I remembered all the long, lonely nights I spent staying awake and working on my book.

If we show up and put in the work, then God will bless our efforts. It may take some time, but God sees it all. I like to think of it like this. After a while, I will go out and gather all that I have done. What do I want to collect? Blessings or hardships?
