The Beautiful Power of Hope

Oh, the beautiful power of hope. It serves as a bridge between my current state and what my heart truly desires. As long as we have hope of a better day or outcome, we can endure the pain.

Yesterday, as I went through a roller coaster of emotions throughout my day, all I had to cling to was hope. Even when the news was bad, my heart turned toward the Lord. As the tears poured, God understood each one. In the heartache of it all, God comforted me and gave me hope when there was none. 

When we’re unsure about what to do or how to handle a situation, I’m grateful for the power in the name of Jesus. God can change our situation, but if He doesn’t change the situation, He can comfort us in such a beautiful way. 

God cares about us. He cares about the things that cause us pain. He wants us to cry out to Him when our hearts feel pain and uncertainty. 

It’s truly a beautiful experience when we invite God into it all, when we tell Him how we feel with honesty, and then accept His will. 

Regardless of the outcome, this situation changed me. I learned something so valuable through the pain. And for that I am so grateful. 

I learned to leave my heart open, even if my heart gets shattered. To feel the emotions, even if they hurt so badly. Because love is greater than anything we can imagine, it’s a beautiful gift from God. 

Lastly, I learned to allow people to sit with me in my pain. Instead of closing myself off and taking all the pain inward, I can share the moment with others and let them love me through it all. 

Romans 8:28 KJV

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

This verse is so special to me. It reminds me that God can and will turn our heartaches into blessings. We just have to TRUST Him with it all and know that whatever He decides to do with a situation is for the best.
