Reprogramming My Mind With God’s Love

Do you live in fear?
I’m tired of living in fear.
For as long as I can remember, I have battled fear. As a young girl, I can still recall the crippling surge of panic that washed over me every time I thought about my future. The what-ifs almost destroyed me. Fear has followed me into adulthood, shaping so many reactions and stealing so many joys.
Fear has paralyzed me, stolen my sleep, taken my dreams, and silenced the best version of me.
Recently, I’ve been having some health problems. After talking with a functional medicine doctor, he told me my test results showed an autoimmune disorder. I began researching healing protocols, and what I found broke my heart.
According to the research, long-term fear and insecurity can contribute to autoimmune conditions. Sometimes we hear something that speaks straight to our souls, and it’s hard to unhear it.
When I read those words, something inside me shifted. I wanted to dismiss it, but I knew in my soul that it was true. I could trace every hardship in my life back to a deep moment of fear. And I realized this is the enemy’s work. Fear is his language. He wants me so afraid and sick that I can’t do God’s work.
But if fear can make me sick, then faith can heal me.
I’ve done all the physical healing protocols. I’ve changed my diet, exercised, taken supplements, and followed the plans I thought would fix my body. While they help, something has still been missing. I don’t just want to manage symptoms—I want to heal at the root. I want God to show me how.
So, I’m willing to let go.
- I’m willing to release the fear.
- I’m willing to release disappointment and rejection.
- I’m willing to forgive the hurt.
- And I’m willing to believe that God has something better for me.
The price of holding onto fear is greater than I’m willing to pay.
So now, I want to sit with God and let Him show me the way. I want to feel safe, loved, and secure in Him. I want His truth to reprogram my mind. I want to let His love heal me deeply — not just physically, but spiritually and emotionally.
So I’m anchoring this healing journey in God’s truth — the truth that safety, peace, protection, and healing are found in Him:
Scriptures on God’s Safety
Psalm 46:1 (KJV)
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 91:2 (KJV)
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Psalm 62:6–7 (KJV)
He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Proverbs 18:10 (KJV)
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.
2 Samuel 22:31 (KJV)
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him.
Sweet friend, if fear has been whispering lies into your heart, I pray you’ll join me in choosing faith instead. God doesn’t want us to merely survive. He wants us to live, heal, and thrive with Him.
