Let the Lord Lead Your Day

Do you need the Lord to move on your behalf?

Sweet friends, it amazes me how God works things out. I love how He takes my complicated problems, which I’ve worked on for years, and fixes them with ease. Every time He moves in my life like this, I am amazed, making me feel so loved.

Even my minor problems matter to Him.

Psalm 37:4-5 KJV

Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

When we commit our lives to God and sincerely desire His will, then He will give us the desires of our hearts. The verse in Psalm 37 reaffirms this beautiful hope.

I struggle to find the words to explain the depths of His love. Honestly, I don’t even understand it all in my mind. But I feel it in my heart. I love it when my Lord comes through and runs my cup over. His blessings are so great that my heart can’t contain them. Every once in a while, they bubble up inside of me and spill over.

No one can fully comprehend the magnitude of God’s blessings. They are a gift from God, and we can only get them from Him. And when He bestows them upon us, it is the most incredible feeling. Imagine love, joy, and peace flooding your heart all at once. His blessings satisfy my soul.

Seeking the Lord every day should be our top priority. I know from experience that to experience peace, joy, and love in my life, I must make time for God. When I put Him first, then He helps me with everything else. And the time I spend with God is the best part of my day. He satisfies my soul and fills up my cup for the day. Then I can pour a little love out to others.

So, I start every morning with God. I have my coffee with Him and read His word. I invite Him into my life. I seek His guidance and help. I tell Him all about my heartaches as well as thank Him for my blessings.

Every day is a battle; therefore, I want to make sure I spend time with my God, the leader of my life, before I encounter others and enter the battlefield. I want to get my strength, courage, mindset, and faith for the day. I can’t do this on my own; I need the Lord.

Will you start your day with the Lord and let Him help you?
