Do You Believe God Can Do It for You?

What if God is waiting on you? Have you ever considered that possibility?

What if you don’t need to do more, but just believe that God can make it happen?

I’m sitting with this thought today. As I read in Matthew 9 this morning, the scriptures remind me that Jesus answered prayers based on their faith. And it brought me to my own mountain. What do I truly believe about my situation?

What if Jesus told me He would answer my prayer according to my faith? What would happen? Would I bring the worst-case scenario or the blessing? Would my faith be bigger than my fear?

Matthew 9:2 KJV

2 And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.

Matthew 9:22 KJV

22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

Matthew 9:29 KJV

29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you.

Seeing the power of faith in these examples, I NEVER want to believe negative thoughts again. In every situation, I want to seek faith and believe in the possibility of miracles. 

My God is all-powerful! He has an abundance within His reach. He can make miracles happen in my life. I am His child, and He wants to give me the desires of my heart. 

Therefore, I want to look for them all day long. I want to live in this beautiful anticipation that something wonderful is about to happen. I want to be so locked in on my faith that the fear doesn’t even bother me. 

I don’t know how my God is going to do it or when He will do it, but I believe that He will. And when my faith starts to shake, I want to run to my Lord and beg Him to restore it and even strengthen it.

27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
