Are You Ready to Meet God?

Are you prepared for the ultimate tragedy if it strikes you today? 

Today, we remember. 

Most of us know where we were and how we felt when the first plane flew into the tower. We cried along with those suffering and watched in horror as the events unfolded. If any of the people had known what was going to happen to them, then they wouldn’t have been there. They would have stayed home, out of harm’s way.

The thing is, we don’t know when bad things will happen. 

Tragedy often strikes unaware. The only thing that we can do is to prepare for the tragedy by preparing to die. We do this by accepting the salvation of the Lord when He calls to us. Then, death will not have any power over us. While our body will die one day, our soul will live forever with God.

The young, as well as the old and every age in between, died that day. So often, we put off accepting the Lord into our hearts for another day. We always think we have more time, and don’t make it a priority today. 

But do we know that for sure? Do we know that we will get the next breath?

Accepting the Lord and choosing Him as my Savior was the best decision that I’ve ever made. I’ve never regretted giving my heart to Him. While I don’t want to die and leave my family, I have made preparations for that day. When my life comes to an end, I am ready. For me, death will be a happy exchange. I will receive a glorified body and live with my Lord, enjoying His eternal peace and love forever. 

What a day that will be!

If you don’t know the Lord, then I beg you to seek Him with your whole heart. He wants to save you. He wants to give you the good things that He has prepared just for you. Please accept His gift. Let Him put His love in the depths of your heart. It is the most amazing feeling in the world.

John 3:16 KJV

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
