Praise and worship for the Lord shouldn’t just happen in church. Every day, when we open our eyes to a new day, is a beautiful reason to pray and worship. We get many opportunities throughout our day to extend God’s love and give others a glimpse of Him.
The way we treat others determines where our hearts are. We can’t hurt people, mistreat them, and then worship the Lord. It doesn’t work that way. How we treat others is how we treat the Lord.
Whenever we invite someone into our home and show them love, we worship the Lord. When we help someone else, we worship the Lord. When we feed others, we share a meal with the Lord. When we desire to help someone else, we worship the Lord.
Anytime we do something for someone else from the depths of our hearts because we truly want to, we worship the Lord. We also praise Him when our conversations speak of good, loving things.
It pleases God when we love others and do what we can to help them. Therefore, I can let love be my default when faced with decisions on what to do. Love can move mountains and light the darkness.
Every day, I want to allow my soul to connect with the Lord. When love leads our thoughts and decisions, praise comes naturally. We stop worshipping ourselves and others and start truly worshipping the Lord.
