When Mountains Become Miracles: Trusting God Through Pain

What if God assigned you this mountain to show others He can move it?

Whew! I heard this and felt the validation in my soul. Other people have the same circumstances that we do. God doesn’t give us mountains to break us. He provides us with mountains to show others how to climb them with the faith, trust, strength, the word of God, and courage that only comes from the Lord.

Our pain is a gift even when it doesn’t feel that way.

The circumstances are part of the blessing—something shifts inside of me when I can see it that way. My hardships transform before my eyes as I see them as an opportunity to help someone else.

When we take it to the Lord, He will show us how to overcome it all. And when we decide to go through our hardships with Him, then everything changes. That’s when we can stand in the middle of the storm and praise Him because we know the blessing coming is not comparable to the pain. In the storms, I learn, grow, and truly realize how much the Lord loves me. It’s His love that moves the mountains.

Sometimes, God uses us to show others miracles. In the Bible, if God had spoken healing over Lazarus, he wouldn’t have died. But Jesus purposely waited. He waited to show them a miracle. If He had healed Lazarus, then they would have missed God’s power. Jesus showed them He had power over death when He raised Lazarus from the dead.

When we get saved, we have the absolute best gift possible. If we truly pause and think about the greatness of our salvation, we can live in a beautiful state of gratitude. Life might be hard and messy on this side, but the BEST IS YET TO COME. One day, there will be no more pain or suffering.

We are here to be witnesses for God and to help others. When I feel this in my soul, so many other things don’t even matter. Loving the Lord, loving others, and following Him brings peace and joy into my life as nothing else can.

So, if you feel like you are drowning in the pain, go to the Lord. Let Him show you how to praise Him through the storms. And be such a beautiful, bright light that others can’t help but see you.
