Unfollow the World, Follow God

We can’t hear the voice of our Lord when we are in the world’s noise. The internet and social media have tons of advice on how we should live our lives. Usually, however, the information is conflicting. One person tells us to do one thing, while someone else declares we should do another. If we are not careful, we can spend a lot of time chasing the wrong something.

Isaiah 48:17 (KJV)
17 Thus saith the Lord, thy Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the Lord thy God which teacheth thee to profit, which leadeth thee by the way that thou shouldest go.

People will disappoint us. God, however, only wants the best for us. He knows us more intimately than we know ourselves. When we seek Him, He will help us with all things and lead us the right way.

Most of the time, we feel that we are not good enough because we compare our real lives to the fake ones on the internet. People only allow us to see the parts of ourselves that they want us to see.

Therefore, we don’t need to compare our truth to someone else’s lie. We need to seek God. When the world swirls in chaos, God is secure.

God is the truth our hearts need when the world’s lies disappoint us. When we don’t know what to do, God will guide us. God created us for a purpose. He knows what we need, and He loves us unconditionally.
