No Exceptions: God’s Love Includes You

When we feel broken and defeated and even a little bit hopeless, God will carry us until we can stand again. He loves us. 

The enemy tries to distort God’s love. He wants us to think it is only for others. That we are the exception to the rule. But that’s not true. Read these verses on God’s love and let it settle in your heart. As you read them, imagine God saying them to you, that He wrote them just for you. 

Sweet friend, our sins don’t repulse God. Jesus is the answer to every sin. His blood lovingly covers every single one. We don’t have to live in shame, bound by our sins. We can live in love, set free from bondage. 

Zephaniah 3:17 KJV

17 The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

John 15:9 KJV

9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 

Ephesians 2:4-5 KJV

4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) 

John 3:16 KJV

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The enemy wants us to feel hopeless, but God is our hope. He has everything we need. Give Him time to work it out for you. Trust Him with the deepest pain and allow Him to heal you. 

God took every ounce of my pain and healed it. He even took it a step further and used it to help me so I can help others. Sometimes we need experiences so we can help others. The enemy wants us to hide in shame, but God has grace for it all. 

Let Him love you and help you. It will get better. Our hardships won’t last forever. One day, this trial might be a beautiful testimony that will help someone who feels the same way.
