Do you have hope?
Regardless of how dark it has gotten in my life, and sweet friends, it’s been so dark at times, God has always given me a little spark of hope amid the pain.
When the world told me there wasn’t a way, my God reminded me He is my way. When I found myself standing on the edge of the impossible, my God made it possible. When the pain was too great, and I knelt to pray, Jesus wrapped his arm around me.
God took my wounds and transformed them into wisdom. He took the pain and created something beautiful.
I am blessed every time I share my testimony of hope, faith, and deliverance and see it touch someone else and give them hope. As long as we have hope, we can endure the pain.
Our lives should proclaim God’s goodness. We all have beautiful testimonies of His greatness. Sometimes, we cover them up because we are in such a hurry to get to the next thing. In the hustle of life, we often get distracted, discouraged, and delayed. As long as the enemy can keep us in this state, we don’t feel the gratitude or speak it.
We replace our hope with complaints. The enemy ensures that it is never enough. He will even have us complain about our blessings. So when we talk to others, we tell them all the things we don’t like instead of what we love.
When our complaints exceed our praise, we really do have problems. It is a sign that we are focusing on the wrong things and listening to the enemy. We can overcome this by shifting our focus to God’s goodness and how He has blessed our lives. When I tap into the power of gratitude and start praising my Lord, the blessings keep coming to my mind.
He’s been so good to me that I can’t fully express my gratitude. I have hope in the deepest places of my heart that exceeds anything my mind can comprehend. One day, my hope will transform into reality, and I will spend eternity feeling love, joy, and peace.
In the meantime, I want to show other people how to get this beautiful hope and tell anyone who will listen about the goodness of my Lord.
