Is Anything Too Hard for God?

Sometimes we pray big prayers with little faith. We ask God to do the impossible, yet deep down we’re not sure He really will. Faith is not proven by words alone; it is revealed through action.
If we truly believe God will answer our prayers, then we have to prepare for the blessing. We have to believe, in the deepest places of our souls, that nothing—no matter how impossible it seems—is too hard for the Lord.
Jeremiah 32:27 KJV
“Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
When we are willing to follow the Lord, even when we don’t understand the path ahead or know where it will lead, He blesses us. Throughout Scripture, the common thread is unwavering faith paired with obedience.
The faithful didn’t just pray for God’s help; they prepared for it.
- Noah didn’t just pray for safety; he built the ark.
- Moses didn’t just pray for a way; he stepped forward, and the sea parted.
- David didn’t pray for deliverance; he gathered stones.
- Jesus didn’t pray for salvation; He gave His life.
These are powerful examples of faith in action.
We can tell God all day long that we believe He can do impossible things, but sometimes faith requires movement. Following God is the pathway to miracles.
When we show up and do our part, God does what only He can do. David slung the stone, but God directed it. Noah built the ark, but God sealed it.
Sometimes I get so focused on the outcome that I forget it’s not my responsibility. Outcomes belong to God.
When I try to do God’s part, I come up short and convince myself that it’s impossible. And the truth is, it is impossible for me. But with God, all things are possible.
Luke 18:27 KJV
“The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
God is not limited. His power has no boundaries. If I want a life filled with miracles, I must recognize His greatness and surrender control.
The more I doubt God, the smaller He becomes in my mind. And when I pray from doubt instead of faith, I wonder why my prayers feel unanswered.
True faith is surrender. Praising God, whether He answers the prayer the way we hoped or not. When we trust Him fully, our relationship deepens and becomes unconditional.
If we only love God when He gives us what we want, that isn’t love.
If we only trust Him when we can see the outcome, that isn’t faith.
When I went into surgery for my thumb, there was every reason to believe it wouldn’t work. I could lose function in my hand. All I truly had was faith and hope.
Before the surgery, I surrendered the outcome. I decided to praise God whether my thumb worked or not.
God replaced my fear with peace, excitement, and gratitude. I cried, not from fear, but from hope. And afterward, I cried again, this time with thankfulness.
God showed me that nothing is too hard for Him.
Now, when I face situations that feel impossible, all I have to do is look at my thumb. It is my reminder that my impossible has been made possible by God.
Sweet friends, if you are facing something that feels too big, too painful, or too far gone, take heart. God is able. He can turn heartache into a blessing.
Nothing is too hard for God.
