Focus on God’s Power, Not the Enemy’s Lies

Sweet friends, everything will be okay. I can make this declaration because I know who is watching over us and protecting us. The same God who sealed Noah and His family in the ark, parted the Red Sea for Moses and the children of Israel, closed the mouth of the lion for Daniel, and protected the Hebrew children from the fiery furnace will help us as well.

The one thing they all have in common is their obedience to God. They didn’t follow man or become paralyzed by their fear, but they trusted God. While He didn’t prevent them from having hardships, He did help them to overcome each one.

Therefore, I want to live my life as someone who trusts God. I want to take everything to the Lord in prayer. God doesn’t want us to be afraid. He wants us to trust Him to take care of us. When we put God first in our lives, He will take care of everything else.

Sometimes we need to be reminded of who our God is. Instead of focusing on our enemy’s power, we should focus on the power of our Lord. God spoke this world, and everything in it, into existence. We don’t even know how to breathe on our own. God gives us each breath. He raises the sun each morning and gives us everything that we need.
