Faith Comes First—Then God Moves

God will meet you where you are, sweet friend. He has grace for you regardless of what you’ve done or didn’t do. Seek Him with your whole heart, and let Him help you.

Did you know that unbelief is a sin?

Romans 14:23 KJV
23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

It never occurred to me before, or maybe I forgot, but it is a sin when I worry or doubt my Lord. To serve the Lord and walk in His ways, I have to walk by faith. By faith, God saved my soul. I believed that He could and would save me. God didn’t save me, and then I believed. I believed first, and then He saved me.

If we are going to do His work, we must have faith. I don’t understand it all. The good news is we don’t have to understand it all. All we have to do is believe that it is possible. Then, God will make way for it to happen. He has a plan. God already knows how, when, and where it will happen. We just have to believe wholeheartedly that it will happen.

When I worry or doubt, I need to remember who my God is. I need to read my Bible about all the miracles He has already done. I need to search my life for my faith story and let the Lord increase my faith.

Every day I need to recognize how He shows up in my life and helps me. I need to read His word more and meditate on His beautiful promises.

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
